Looks at the case of Frank Lee Smith accused and convicted with little evidence of raping and murdering an 8 year old girl. The lengthy appeals process and interdepartmental miscommunications resulted in his being found innocent 10 months after he had died in prison. Looks at the impediments to justice in this case and what lessons can be learned from it.
